Make a unique first impression
If you have the same boho-style rug in your office’s entrance lounge that 1/8 of the country has some version of in their living room, this is not okay.
The first impression that you will give off to potential clients, collaborators, and new hires will be that you're not that different from their aunt.
I'm sure you are unlike their aunt, but why let it take more than 3 seconds for that to be obvious?
Don't delay communicating that you're cutting edge.
Let it be obvious from millisecond number one.
And let your team feel it every day when they walk through the door.
I don't mean throw money at the wall.
I mean invest it strategically and with intention.
Your office should work for the brand the same way your team works for the company.
And there's a system and process for making that happen.
Don't ignore the rug in your lounge.
You don't have time to waste bouncing back from a first impression that reads: Same same.
